Witney Town Council looks after public halls, parks and playgrounds, outside sports provision and is also statutorily responsible for graveyards.

Toby served as the Town Councillor for Witney North from 2011 – 2019. Up until May 2018 Toby was the leader of council and chairman of the policy and resources committee. Having served two terms on the Town Council Toby did not seek re-election but has not ruled out standing again in the future.
